What's with all the gaps?

Traditional blog wisdom urges you to post frequently and regularly. However, such advice gives me mild panic attacks and destroys the joy of writing. Thinking of Protocol 7 as a journal, a life-long journal, allows me to escape the blogger-pressure and create a space that suits me. Sometimes work is crazy and I can't find the time to write. Sometimes I'm writing, but it's the kind of stuff that doesn't belong online. And sometimes I'm just having fun in meatspace, believe it or not. Which means occasionally Protocol 7 will be silent, but that's okay too.
