What window managers do people prefer? I’m using kdm right now (my lombard died, so I’m running debian unstable on a cute little powerbook)…
i just use the default that gnome provides. my only criteria at present is that it allow me to quickly move among windows with a keystroke (alt-tab). looks don’t matter, it seems to me. what should matter is a design that somehow makes good use of the keyboard. who has given this thought to integrate the design of the window manager with the application? i haven’t tried mac os/x, but i expect it to do this because apple has exercised so much control over the U/I.
